Technical plates for people who jump.
Controlled Disagreement draws skydiving the way the old clubs and engineers did: round canopies, ram-airs, drop zone survey maps, altimeters and packing cards, set down as numbered plates in clean line work.
The shirts are made by a parachute rigger with more than 2,000 skydives. Every drawing comes from time spent in the packing room, the loft and the drop zone.
Every shirt carries the C/D badge small on the left chest and a full plate on the back, in off-white and safety orange on garment-dyed Comfort Colors cotton. Each one is printed when you order it.
The series runs to 20 plates for now and grows from there. Every drop zone, roster and document in the drawings is fictional.
